ABOUT THE ACADEMY
Knipp Passing Academy is Northern Colorado's premier QB and WR training service. Former CFL and UNC quarterback Jake Knipp brings over 17 years of experience into training sessions. Jake focuses on the most important fundamentals that transition to success in the most crucial moments of a game. Each session is tailored to individual needs as all kids get treated and accessed according to where they are in their football journey.
The Knipp Passing Academy is not for athletes to look good in shorts while throwing on air, but for athletes looking to gain an advantage when the lights are the brightest!

Meet the Team!
Jake Knipp
Owner/QB Coach
Jake Knipp grew up in Colorado and fell in love with the game of football early on in his childhood. Once he got to high school, he fell in love with the quarterback position on a whole different level. Jake became a 2-time All-State Quarterback selection and broke the Colorado High School record for highest completion percentage in a season. Jake ended up accepting a scholarship to play football at the University of Northern Colorado where he would wind up spending 6 years playing for the Bears. Jake took over as starting Quarterback his freshmen year and broke every freshmen record in UNC history. Jake would become the only 5-time team captain in the history of the NCAA after 6 years in Greeley. With several injuries and setbacks along the way, Jake ended up signing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL and now has chosen to coach and share all of his successes and failures with the next generation of quarterbacks.

Kevin Meadows
WR Coach
Kevin grew up in Colorado and started playing the game of football at the age of 7. Once Kevin got to high school, he became one of the best WR prospects in the state with two All-Conference selections and served as team captain his senior year. Kevin ended up accepting a scholarship to CSU-Pueblo where he was a multi sport athlete in football and track, Kevin competed in the long jump and ran the 400 while winning the Football Division II National Championship his freshmen year. After a few successful seasons at CSU-Pueblo, Kevin decided to transfer to the University of Northern Colorado to play Division 1 football and reunite with his high school QB Jake Knipp. Kevin brings incredible knowledge to the KPA and loves to help athletes with the little things that gives them a chance at playing at the next level.
